Libin Ali
My name is Libin Ali and I am an 18 years old girl who lives in Sweden for about 10 years now and I am from Somalia but I was born in Kenya which is quite close to Somalia. I live a bit outside of Stockholm with my mom and my six siblings whom one of them is my twin sister but unfortunately my dad does not live here in Sweden with us.
Right now I am studying at my second year in Tullinge gymnasium and I chose to study the health and care program, first when I chose the health and care program I wanted to become a surgeon and then I changed my mind to becoming a psychologist after that to a nurse, so at the first year I changed my mind a lot of times and i was unaware of what I wanted for my future but still today, it is difficult to decide, but one thing I know for sure is that in the future I want to work with people who need me and when I’m done with this 3 years in Tullinge gymnasium I will be an auxiliary nurse.
After I graduate next year I’m planning on traveling around and my first destination will be Australia, there I want to work as an Au pair for like 3 months and then I just want to travel to south Africa, USA and around the world and experience different cultures and getting to know new people but when I’m finished traveling around I want to come back to Sweden and finish college then move to England because I love London and it’s one of my favorite city’s.
On my spare time besides studying I like to spend time with my friends and family as much as I can and doing stuff like watching movies go out and eat and just have fun, I love to play sports too I used to play soccer and basketball but It was a pretty long time ago since I played for a team instead I try to exercise a couple times every week now.
I want to go to Goa and participate in the project because it seems like a really good chance for me to develop both social hospitality to people from other cultures such as Goa and be able to look inside and learn how something’s are different than here in Sweden. I already know that this experience will be life changing and I will always look back and take knowledge from it.
